I’ll have some photos this week on the New Year Celebrations and I have just complete a photo session with the Adam’s Apple Ladies – Cabaret show dancers. They are approving them now and I will post some examples here. Stay tuned.

Doctor Dave had sex with one of his patients and felt guilty all daylong. No matter how much he tried to forget about it, he just couldn’t. The guilt and sense of betrayal was overwhelming. But every once in a while he’d hear an internal, reassuring voice in his head that said: Dave, don’t worry about it. You aren’t the first medical practitioner to have sex with one of their patients and you won’t be the last. And you’re single. Just let it go, Dave."
But invariably another voice in his head would bring him back to reality, whispering:

You’re a veterinarian, you sick bastard".

Here’s a good one from Paul’s weekly jokes.
Two farmers, Jim and Bob, are sitting at their favorite bar, drinking beer. Jim turns to Bob and says, "You know, I’m tired of going through life without an education. Tomorrow I think I’ll go to the Community College and sign up for some classes."
Bob thinks it’s a good idea, and the two leave. The next day, Jim goes down to the college and meets the Dean of Admissions, who signs him up for the four basic classes: Math, English, history, and Logic.
"Logic?" Jim says. "What’s that?" The dean says, "I’ll show you. Do you own a weed-eater?"
"Yeah." "Then logically speaking, because you own a weed-eater, I think that you would have a yard."
"That’s true, I do have a yard."
"I’m not done," the dean says "Because you have a yard, I think logically that you would have a house."
"Yes, I do have a house"
"And because you have a house, I think that you might logically have a family."
"I have a family."
"I’m not done yet. Because you have a family, then logically you must have a wife."
"Yes, I do have a wife."
"And because you have a wife, then logic tells me you must be a heterosexual."
"I am a heterosexual. That’s amazing; you were able to find out all of that because I have a weed-eater."Excited to take the class now, Jim shakes the Dean’s hand and leaves to go meet Bob at the bar. He tells Bob about his classes, how he is signed up for Math, English, History, and Logic.
"Logic?" Bob says, "What’s that?"
Jim says, "I’ll show you. Do you have a weed-eater?"
"No."
"Then you’re a queer!"

Just went to Lanna Lavender Hotel last night and had a drink on the roof-top bar – still open and going strong – Ian, the manager, was having dinner with friends so I didn’t get a chance to talk to him – BUT
Lanna Lavender Hotel – is still OPEN
and a friend of mine who works at PowerBoys – went to work last night – it is open at least for the short term – they have told the boys that they will be moving to a new location but have not told them exactly when or where it will be.
Rumors – not sure exactly what is happening – I’ll try to find out and post the real facts here if I can.

Sad news – PowerBoys has closed and rumor is their looking for a new location to re-open as a smaller venue. – I’ll let you know as it happens
Lanna Lavender Hotel is going back to the original owners and not sure how this will play out – rumor has it that they intend to convert the old PowerBoys downstairs area and bar into a Disco – not sure what the Hotel will be called or cater.
The largest Gay Venue in Northern Thailand has closed, the fantasy has ended.
From what I can see – Jay – fulfilled his fantasy and now it’s over.
Meanwhile, Adam’s Apple Club is expanding their offerings – Pizza and rumor later spaghetti. But right now the Pizza has been excellent – fresh ingredients, thin crust and excellent taste. Served each evening and also local delivery – nice
Karaoke
—- 12:00 Am – 6:00 AM —– after the featured boy show the club is hosting a Karaoke evening. With that sound system they have and the ability to add reverb and other sound effects to the microphone – singers should finally sound pretty good – If you want to spend all night partying then this is the place to go. Join the boys – of course it’s hosted.

Just some examples – wonderful sites for photos, wonderful boys for models – great software for editing – anyone can take great photos today – most of these I have printed in 8×12 framed versions hanging on my studio wall (framing cost = 200 Baht or $7 each)

and here is a copy of the picture I’ve framed as a window in the kitchen over the sink area – this is the Wiang Haeng area North of Chiang Mai – it makes washing the dishes much easier.

A Texas rancher got in his pickup and drove to a neighboring ranch and knocked at the door. A young boy, about 9, opened the door. "Is yer Dad home?" the rancher asked.
"No sir, he ain’t," the boy replied. "He went into town." "Well", said the rancher, "is yer Mom here?" "No, sir, she ain’t here neither. She went into town with Dad." "How about your brother, Howard? Is he here?" "He went with Mom and Dad." The rancher stood there for a few minutes, shifting from one foot to the other and mumbling to himself. "Is there anything I can do fer ya?" the boy asked politely. "I knows where all the tools are, if you want to borry one. Or maybe I could take a message fer Dad." "Well," said the rancher uncomfortably, "I really wanted to talk to yer Dad. It’s about your brother Howard getting my daughter, Pearly Mae, pregnant."The boy considered for a moment. "You would have to talk to Pa about that", he finally conceded. "If it helps you any, I know that Pa charges $50 for the bull and $25 for the hog, but, I really don’t know how much he gets fer Howard."

Here is one of the most useful web-sites I have found, especially since I am having so much trouble speaking and learning Thai.
Of course a better way is to purchase the program and have it on the computer all the time – no Internet needed and much, much faster. But if you only occasionally need to look-up the Thai meaning or translate Thai into English – then the online version will do just fine. Check it out. http://www.thai2english.com/online/

Just got back from my yearly checkup, went to Sriphat Medical Center, located in the 13th floor, Emergency Building of Suan Dok Hospital. American doctor Gregory Greer, nice to be able to talk English and have everything understood, and Dr. Gregory is great.
Full checkup, Chest X-ray, EKG, Blood, Urine and general physical exam including HIV and Hep B booster – 5,000 Baht at today’s exchange $147. Clean bill of health – naturally, more exercise needed, but excellent.
Service is great and fast and efficient – 13th floor for English speaking – check it out.

Well I think I have actually becoming more Thai now – This morning it was 80*F (26 C) in the house and I thought it was cool. Haven’t gotten used to metrics yet so I still use Fahrenheit. I expect it to reach about 96-7 today outside in the shade.
I have had to start drinking a flavored electrolyte solution about every other day to compensate for the sweating, although I am not as bad as when I arrived. It’s amazing how much better I feel after having the drink – didn’t realize how much water and salt loss there is on a daily basis in this weather. I don’t have the constant sweating like before – but apparently it is still going on to cool me down but not as noticeable. If I start getting really tired during the day then I make sure I have been drinking enough water and solution.
Anyway – just a note –

Not sure who the teams are but my friend sent me these photos to prove a point – “Always wear BLACK bicycle shortsâ€.
I find the same thing in the studio, so I never have the boys wear black or even dark clothing – especially shorts (if they have any on, that is.)
Although it does give you something else to look for when choosing your favorite teams.

Just got the computer working again – bad motherboard, replaced – some bad memory, replaced – bad CD writer, replaced. Took a week to get it all done and 2 days more to reload the software.
I now have 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium – and I am really liking it – this blog entry was made using “Live Writer†– really nice. and I now have Messenger install too – Skype works better and I really see a difference in the monitors (ATI Radeon 4550) – Lightroom and Photoshop are showing and working much better. So far – So Good
Inserting maps, photos, videos, seems to be much easier with “Writer†than with “Blogjet†that I was using earlier – Writer actually shows me a preview of what it will look like in my blog – very nice.
I am going to see what Live Photo Gallery will look like and maybe start uploading to it. – Just a snippet and one or two images for each post and the rest in the Gallery – we’ll see.
Well this is just a test and enough for today.
