The World’s Troubles

As I was just coming home and worrying about all the stuff going on in my life, my family’s lives, my friend’s lives; and what’s happening in Washington, Moscow, Ukraine, the Middle East, Hillary Clinton’s scandals, Trump, Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, CNBC, (et al); the downgrading of our military, the terrorists infiltrating our border, the illegals, the refugees, and how our country is rapidly losing its sanity and its Christianity;    I saw a yard sign that said:

NEED HELP?
CALL JESUS   1-800-555-3787

Out of curiosity and desperation, I called the number……….
A Mexican showed up with a lawnmower.

Papa’s Garden–Doi SaKet

Wow, I didn’t realize how long it’s been since I visited venues in the area 20171011_13483320171011_135820and posted about them – lost in my painting.  Today I went with a couple of friends to Papa’s Garden in Doi SaKet for lunch. Great food and surroundings.  A little way off the beaten path but well worth it. They grow, hydroponically, their own salads and served fresh.20171011_13505620171011_13511220171011_13514920171011_13541720171011_13571220171011_135441 Walked around the facilities and this would be a great place to stay for a family. Something for the kids and relaxing for the parents.

This is my model of this world – An illusion, born from an insane thought that something other than God can be of value.   That thought, made real by incomplete judgment and a desire to be special, only in illusion and perception born. I still have a lot of work to do on it – better graphics and  detail – but  it’s a start ——-

ACIM  Chapter 20, Section 6  The Temple of the Holy Spirit –  The meaning of the Son of God lies solely in his relationship with his Creator. If it were elsewhere it would rest on contingency, but there is nothing else. And this is wholly loving and forever. Yet has the Son of God invented an unholy relationship between him and his Father. His real relationship is one of perfect union and unbroken continuity. The one he made is partial, self-centered, broken into fragments and full of fear. The one created by his Father is wholly Self-encompassing and Self-extending. The one he made is wholly self-destructive and self-limiting.

Many try to remove Jesus from the “Course” saying it doesn’t really matter who or what you call GOD.  But to accept the Course is to accept it all and I offer the following to show the relevance of Jesus and his words. ACIM-A3-Jesus-webLargeReligion is another matter.
