What is “Christ”? Simple question- Simple answer

Matthew 16:16 “And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the CHRIST, the SON of the living God.       17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, BUT MY FATHER which is in heaven.”

THINK ABOUT THAT –   The SON of the living God.  “ELOHIM”        Remember Genesis 1:27   “ So Elohim created man in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him; male and female created he them.”

MAN WAS CREATED IN ELOHIM’S OWN IMAGE. In the Image and Likeness of God – “Spirit, One in the Elohim.”       Elohim is PLURAL, the “ALL” –  Seeing anything else is imagining but an ILLUSION, a dream or nightmare  of separation from the ALL – a tiny MAD idea in the mind of God’s Son.  Remember the story of the Prodigal Son.

The PHYSICAL world demands separation or specialness – only in the SPIRIT  world can  abstract or plurality exist and be realized as “ONE”.  As Jesus said “My Kingdom is not of this world.” and “in my Father’s house are many rooms and I go to make a place for you.”

My Lesson #271 says it all:

Christ’s is the vision I will use today.

1. Each day, each hour, every instant, I am choosing what I want to look upon, the sounds I want to hear, the witnesses to what I want to be the truth for me. Today I choose to look upon what Christ would have me see, to listen to God’s Voice, and seek the Witnesses to what is true in God’s creation. In Christ’s sight, the world and God’s creation meet, and as they come together all perception disappears. His kindly sight redeems the world from death, for nothing that He looks on but must live, remembering the Father and the Son; Creator and creation unified.

2. Father, Christ’s vision is the way to You. What He beholds invites Your memory to be restored to me. And this I choose, to be what I would look upon today.

“Father forgive them they know not what they do.”

Medical update

On the 15th I reported about my problem with Madiplot – stopped using it  but since then, the Kidney Doctor had me try a Calcium Channel Blocker, “Concor”  as an alternative to control the BP – BUT it proved worse than the Madiplot.   Both were reported in a Medical study to cause  Parkinsonism side effects.   So I’ve now stopped all meds except Valsartan,  reducing it from 80 to 40mg daily,  with great success. 

ANXIETY was found to be my major problem, brought on or emphasized by the drugs.  Most all of the Parkinsonism has gone and the Neurologist has scheduled me for a later 2 month checkup. 

Still dealing with the “anxiety”  however by using the smallest dosage of Valium possible to curb it when it flairs up and my BP rises out of control.   I know Valium is called “solid alcohol” and as a alcoholic should be avoided, so I will therefore seek for a anxiety “controller drug” as apposed to the Valium anxiety suppressor narcotic. 

Increasing my walking exercises and then starting Meditation classes at Wat Suan Dok Temple will be the first line of new defenses – that should really help and putting my trust in God or MY Higher Power to  protect and guide me through the transition from drug control to Faith Control.

What power lies in a judgment ????

What power lies in a judgment ?    ALL POWER – the power to obscure the Love of God.   This section from the “Course” states it so clearly:

ACIM Chapter 24, “The Goal of Specialness”, Section 1, “Specialness is a Substitute for Love”

“Love IS extension. To withhold the smallest gift is not to know love’s purpose. Love offers everything forever. Hold back but ONE belief, ONE offering, and love is gone, because you asked a substitute to take its place. And now must war, the SUBSTITUTE for peace, come with the one alternative that you CAN choose for love. Your CHOOSING it has given it ALL the reality it seems to have. Beliefs will never OPENLY attack each other, because conflicting outcomes ARE impossible. But an UNRECOGNIZED belief is a decision to war in secret, where the results of conflict are kept unknown and NEVER brought to reason, to be considered sensible or not.

And many senseless outcomes HAVE been reached, and meaningless decisions have been made and kept hidden, to become beliefs now GIVEN power to direct all subsequent decisions. Mistake you not the power of these hidden warriors to disrupt your peace. For it IS at their mercy while you decide to leave it there. The secret enemies of peace, your least decisions to choose attack instead of love, unrecognized and swift to challenge YOU to combat and to violence far more inclusive than you think, are there by your election. Do not deny their presence, nor their terrible results. All that can BE denied is their REALITY, but NOT their outcome.

All that is ever cherished as a hidden belief, to be defended though unrecognized, is FAITH IN SPECIALNESS. This takes many forms, but ALWAYS clashes with the reality of God’s creation, and with the grandeur which He gave His Son. What else COULD justify attack? For who could hate someone whose Self is his, and which He KNOWS? Only the special COULD have enemies, for they are different, and NOT the same. And difference of ANY kind imposes orders of reality, and a need to judge that cannot BE escaped.  What God created cannot be attacked, for there is nothing in the universe unlike itself.”

The Christian Religions (actually most religions) teach to become “ONE” with Christ (or God), in other words to accept Christ into their lives – BUT to do this, one must also recognize,  and see, that Christ must then be in everyone and everything else. Specialness cannot exist.  This is expressed in the main tenant of the “Course”.

“Nothing  real can be threatened.      Nothing unreal exists.     Herein lies the Peace of God.”

CO poisoning–Medical Update

Last October, 2019,  I had a extreme poisoning from a leakage in my car exhaust.  Sick for 3 days, took about week to get over the effects.   But yesterday a friend stated that he had seen a dramatic change in my health since that time.       And guess what ?

Just discovered several articles explaining the possible results of Carbon Monoxide poisoning. “Parkinson-ISM” !!!     all the symptoms and behaviors.   And many times appearing 1-2 years after the incident.   Couple this with the same effects that can be caused by Madiplot (BP med) and I am the prefect candidate.     For anyone interested, comment me and I will send you the article’s links.

I have stopped the Madiplot for 4 days now and most of the symptoms are greatly reduced or almost gone.  Reports state that this detox can take up to 4 months, so I’ll just hang with it and see.

But so far,  Good News,  and I am feeling much better.

Parkinson’s Medical Report

Just diagnosed with onset Parkinson’s, possibly Drug Induced or Drug accelerated by the HBP drugs. Checking out one of the HBP meds to see if it is the cause.  Hope so, can slow it down if that’s the case.  Will know in a few weeks.    In any event,

Forgiveness ends all suffering and loss.

“Forgiveness paints a picture of a world where suffering is over, loss becomes impossible and anger makes no sense. Attack is gone, and madness has an end. What suffering is now conceiv­able? What loss can be sustained? The world becomes a place of joy, abundance, charity and endless giving. It is now so like to Heaven that it quickly is transformed into the light that it reflects. And so the journey which the Son of God began has ended in the light from which he came.

Father, we would return our minds to You. We have betrayed them, held them in a vise of bitterness, and frightened them with thoughts of violence and death. Now would we rest again in You, as You created us.”

First blindness, hairy hands and finally a bad military

Just a note of interest – floods, grasshoppers, typhons, tariffs, and now MASTURBATION – the plagues of China.   As reported in the New York Post this is becoming a very serious problem.

“PLA found that 8 percent of candidates failed because of abnormalities found in their scrotum from sitting too much. Another 25 percent flunked because of blood and urine tests.

It recommended that candidates follow 10 basic principles, including exercising more, cutting out fizzy drinks and booze, limiting computer games and masturbation, not getting a tattoo and drinking clean water.”

(In my opinion, Yes, that should take care of the problem)

I was just discussing “walking in faith” with  Buddhist friend of mine…. different myths, cultures, language, experiences, BUT the TRUTH MUST BE true for ALL or it’s NOT the TRUTH.   Attachments or Judgments, is there a difference?  NOT REALY – learn to let them go.   Look for the TRUTH, which must be the same for both.   Lately I have been hearing a lot about the “666”  discussion.  In John 3, Jesus says:

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

Is it coincidence or the commonality of TRUTH that both faiths or paths express the same underlying similarities    Although I haven’t studied the Buddhist Dhamma, I would love to hear, from  any reader, their take on the subjects.  Google search states:

“Buddhism says that there is one in many and many in one, but not that we are all one. We are individuals and each one of us is the whole of our own Universe in which all the others appear in as characters.”

Buddha dealt with the sufferings and attachments in this world, leaving enlightenment to the Enlightened,  whereas Jesus spoke of a personal “SPIRIT-ual” relationship.   As Jesus said “My Father’s mansion has many rooms and I go to make a place for you.”  Through the Blog I hope to delve deeper into these concepts.

Carry the Gospel, But first understand it.

I now see  and accept my function as ‘carrying the Gospel’, but I had to understand or ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE it first.  My theology or basis for life was fabricated on a pyramid of lies and misconceptions.   Judgments I had made and treasured as the truth, never to be brought to the LIGHT of God’s TRUTH.  As Jesus said “The truth WILL set you free”.  Today’s,  Sept. 1st,  lesson from ACIM is 245:

Your peace is with me, Father. I am safe.

1. Your peace surrounds me, Father. Where I go, Your peace goes there with me. It sheds its light on everyone I meet. I bring it to the desolate and lonely and afraid. I give Your peace to those who suffer pain, or grieve for loss, or think they are bereft of hope and happiness. Send them to me, my Father. Let me bring Your peace with me. For I would save Your Son, as is Your Will, that I may come to recognize my Self.

2. And so we go in peace. To all the world we give the message that we have received. And thus we come to hear the Voice for God, Who speaks to us as we relate His Word; Whose Love we recognize because we share the Word that He has given unto us.

And what is peace?, except the realization that fear, guilt, sacrifice, suffering and death are NOT the WILL of GOD nor the state of HIS CREATION. 

I also realize that “theologies” or myths of this world and its views need to be abandoned, and ‘come with a open mind’ to hear God and His Holy Spirit speak directly to me, makes complete and perfect sense.  EVERYTHING in this world , including its theologies, need to be first re-considered and then let go.

Father, help me to openly explain my journey to You, carrying the message, so that others struggling with similar experiences,  backgrounds, questions of faith, or fear or guilt, may find resolution for their issues and be open to Your LOVEING EMBRACE and ETERNAL PEACE.  In this world, where all theologies, beliefs, religions, saints and sinners, are but  symbols.    ALL symbols are just that “SYMBOLS”, each named for a fragment of THEIR REALITY, special and separate in their definition, thus apart from the ALL.   Your Peace is  ONENESS – I AM  AS GOD CREATED ME !.  God’s Sons are One, God is ONE – The ‘ELOHIM’. (Father-Son-Holy Spirit).
