The Answer to the Character and the Dreamer

Sawadee Khrap

Dreamer or Character ARE actually one in the same.  The dreamer is dreaming of separation and the characters are the illusion of separation.   If the dream is an illusion and not God’s reality than the characters are also illusions.  If judgements are the way the characters control and continue the dream than ending judgment is the way to release the dream and the dreamer.   The characters are the ‘self’ and the dreamer is the ‘Self’.  Temptation, sin, salvation, preaching, religion is the story of separation and in no way can be changed for they are the dream itself –  ‘Pardon’ recognizes  sin or error and then excuses it – reinforcing that it did happen – ONLY true forgiveness says it never occurred, it was an illusion in a dream of separation.   Here then is the ANSWER to both?

The ANSWER to the Character:

“When peace comes at last to those who wrestle with temptation, and fight against giving in to sin; when the light comes at last into the mind given to contemplation, or when the goal is finally achieved by anyone, it ALWAYS comes with just ONE happy realization, ‐‐ “I need do nothing.”  Here is the ultimate release that everyone will one day find in his own way, at his own time. We do not need this time. Time has been SAVED for you, because you are together. This is the special means this course is using, to save you time.
You are not making use of the course if you insist on using means that have served others well, neglecting what was made for YOU. Save time for me by only this one preparation, and practice doing NOTHING ELSE. “I need do nothing” is a statement of allegiance, a truly undivided loyalty. Believe it for just one instant, and you will accomplish more than is given to a century of contemplation, or of struggle against temptation. To DO anything involves the body. And, if you recognize you NEED do nothing, you HAVE withdrawn the body’s value from your mind.”   (ACIM  Text 18:7 )

The ANSWER to the Dreamer:

“My sinlessness ensures me perfect peace, eternal safety, everlasting love, freedom forever from all thought of loss; complete deliverance from suffering. And only happiness can be my state, for only happiness is given me. What must I do to know all this is mine? I must accept Atonement for myself, and nothing more. God has already done all things that need be done. And I must learn I need do nothing of myself, for I need but accept my Self, my sinlessness, created for me, now already mine, to feel Godʹs Love protecting me from harm, to understand my Father loves His Son; to know I am the Son my Father loves.
You who created me in sinlessness are not mistaken about what I am. I was mistaken when I thought I sinned, but I accept Atonement for myself. Father, my dream is ended now. Amen.”
