Sleeping or Awake

Sawadee Khrap

Sleeping or awake  – Dreaming or Reality – Separate/Special or ONE – Duality or NON-DUALITY.

When you have seen this real world, as you will surely do, you WILL remember us. But you must learn the cost of sleeping, AND REFUSE TO PAY IT. Only then will you decide to awake. And then the real world will spring to your sight, for Christ has never slept. He is waiting to be seen, for He has never lost sight of YOU.  He looks quietly on the real world, which He would SHARE with you, because He knows of the Father’s love for Him. And knowing this, He would give you what is yours.  In perfect peace, He waits for you at His Father’s altar, holding out the Father’s love to you, in the quiet light of the Holy Spirit’s blessing. For the Holy Spirit will lead everyone home to his Father, where Christ waits as his Self.

Every child of God is one in Christ, for his being is in Christ as Christ’s is in God. Christ’s Love for you is His Love for His Father, which He knows because He knows His Father’s Love for Him.  When the Holy Spirit has at last led you to Christ at the altar to His Father, perception fuses into knowledge because perception has become so holy that its transfer to holiness is merely its natural extension.  Love transfers to love without any interference, for the two are one.  As you perceive more and more common elements in all situations, the transfer of training under the Holy Spirit’s guidance increases and becomes generalized. Gradually you learn to apply it to everyone and everything, for its applicability is universal.  When this has been accomplished, perception and knowledge have become so similar that they share the unification of the laws of God.

What is one cannot be perceived as separate, and the denial of the separation is the reinstatement of knowledge.  At the altar of God, the holy perception of God’s Son becomes so enlightened that light streams into it, and the spirit of God’s Son shines in the Mind of the Father and becomes one with it.  Very gently does God shine upon Himself, loving the extension of Himself that is His Son.  The world has no purpose as it blends into the purpose of God.  For the real world has slipped quietly into Heaven, where everything eternal in it has always been.  There the Redeemer and the redeemed join in perfect love of God and of each other.  Heaven is your home, and being in God it must also be in you.”     (ACIM    Chapter 11 “God’s Plan for Salvation” – section 6 “The Vision of Christ”   UrText (Unedited) version     or

NON-DUALISM

Sawadee Khrap

Most all religions teach DUALISM.,  they consider this world as Reality and some, but not all,  believe in a separate Spirit world or visits by aliens.   Most all Gnostic teachings lean toward a non-dualistic view but in all cases they try to justify,  what they still feel as this world expressing good and/or evil.    It wasn’t until I was introduced to “A Course in Miracles” that I began to consider if there was any truth in a full belief in non-dualism.

Non-Dualism, what does it mean?    I love the way the  ACIM states it:

“Nothing real can be threatened.   Nothing unreal exists.   Herein lies the Peace of God.

There’s only ONE REALITY – GOD, expressed HERE by many words – All, Truth, Love, Mind, Idea, Thought,  One, Elohim, everything else is but a denial of God’s presence or ONENESS and is an illusion or dream of Separation or the desire or belief in specialness and doesn’t really exist.

The author of the  ‘Course’ is purported to be Jesus, ‘Is this the same person as expressed in the Bible?’.    in the Bible,  Jesus, taught using the words and symbols of a Dualistic religion, BUT, did He express ‘NON’ Dualism?

Consider what  Jesus stated   “I and the Father are One”, “I AM”, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.”.   “My Kingdom is not of this world,” and more specific in the Gospel of Thomas-# 3

“Rather, the kingdom is inside of you and outside of you.  When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize that you are the children of the living Father.  But if you do not come to know yourselves, then you exist in poverty, and you are poverty.”  and  #29

“If the flesh came into being because of the spirit, it is a wonder.  But if the spirit (came into being) because of the body, it is a wonder of wonders.  Yet I marvel at how this great wealth has taken up residence in this poverty.”

Jesus is the Light of TRUTH,  – He brings the illusion of this world to the Truth of the Non-Dualistic God. “Elohim”

God is ONE,  –  Father, Son and Holy Spirit – “The Elohim” is ONE  Another name for the Son is Christ – “The Son of the Living God”

Here’s a great explanation by Kenneth Wapnick  about ACIM’s  non-dualism.

“The REDEMPTION”– Dance with Great Choreography

Sawadee Khrap

Here is the Epic story of man’s “Fall into Sin”, the battle between the Angels, Lucifer and Michael, the “Morning Stars”.    This Zurcaroh Dance Group’s performance on AGT 2018  embodies the story of Adam and Eve’s fall from GRACE into CIAOS and SIN and then REDEMPTION.

Thanks Kevin for the link.   I have more detail explaining the theology of the myth in my earlier post on Religions.  Please check it out after the show.

Today’s ACIM Lesson #249:

Forgiveness ends all suffering and loss.

“Forgiveness paints a picture of a world where suffering is over, loss becomes impossible and anger makes no sense. Attack is gone, and madness has an end. What suffering is now conceivable? What loss can be sustained? The world becomes a place of joy, abundance, charity and endless giving. It is now so like to Heaven that it quickly is transformed into the light that it reflects. And so the journey which the Son of God began has ended in the light from which he came.

Father, we would return our minds to You. We have betrayed them, held them in a vise of bitterness, and frightened them with thoughts of violence and death. Now would we rest again in You, as You created us.”

First blindness, hairy hands and finally a bad military

Sawadee Khrap

Just a note of interest – floods, grasshoppers, typhons, tariffs, and now MASTURBATION – the plagues of China.   As reported in the New York Post this is becoming a very serious problem.

“PLA found that 8 percent of candidates failed because of abnormalities found in their scrotum from sitting too much. Another 25 percent flunked because of blood and urine tests.

It recommended that candidates follow 10 basic principles, including exercising more, cutting out fizzy drinks and booze, limiting computer games and masturbation, not getting a tattoo and drinking clean water.”

(In my opinion, Yes, that should take care of the problem)

Carry the Gospel, But first understand it.

Sawadee Khrap

I now see  and accept my function as ‘carrying the Gospel’, but I had to understand or ACTUALLY EXPERIENCE it first.  My theology or basis for life was fabricated on a pyramid of lies and misconceptions.   Judgments I had made and treasured as the truth, never to be brought to the LIGHT of God’s TRUTH.  As Jesus said “The truth WILL set you free”.  Today’s,  Sept. 1st,  lesson from ACIM is 245:

Your peace is with me, Father. I am safe.

1. Your peace surrounds me, Father. Where I go, Your peace goes there with me. It sheds its light on everyone I meet. I bring it to the desolate and lonely and afraid. I give Your peace to those who suffer pain, or grieve for loss, or think they are bereft of hope and happiness. Send them to me, my Father. Let me bring Your peace with me. For I would save Your Son, as is Your Will, that I may come to recognize my Self.

2. And so we go in peace. To all the world we give the message that we have received. And thus we come to hear the Voice for God, Who speaks to us as we relate His Word; Whose Love we recognize because we share the Word that He has given unto us.

And what is peace?, except the realization that fear, guilt, sacrifice, suffering and death are NOT the WILL of GOD nor the state of HIS CREATION.

I also realize that “theologies” or myths of this world and its views need to be abandoned, and ‘come with a open mind’ to hear God and His Holy Spirit speak directly to me, makes complete and perfect sense.  EVERYTHING in this world , including its theologies, need to be first re-considered and then let go.

Father, help me to openly explain my journey to You, carrying the message, so that others struggling with similar experiences,  backgrounds, questions of faith, or fear or guilt, may find resolution for their issues and be open to Your LOVEING EMBRACE and ETERNAL PEACE.  In this world, where all theologies, beliefs, religions, saints and sinners, are but  symbols.    ALL symbols are just that “SYMBOLS”, each named for a fragment of THEIR REALITY, special and separate in their definition, thus apart from the ALL.   Your Peace is  ONENESS – I AM  AS GOD CREATED ME !.  God’s Sons are One, God is ONE – The ‘ELOHIM’. (Father-Son-Holy Spirit).

Today I will judge nothing that occurs.

Sawadee Khrap

After spending all morning doing today’s previous posting I looked at the ACIM Lesson for today Aug 30 :

LESSON 243

Today I will judge nothing that occurs.

1. I will be honest with myself today. I will not think that I already know what must remain beyond my present grasp. I will not think I understand the whole from bits of my perception, which are all that I can see. Today I recognize that this is so. And so I am relieved of judgments that I cannot make. Thus do I free myself and what I look upon, to be in peace as God created us.

2. Father, today I leave creation free to be itself. I honor all its parts, in which I am included. We are one because each part contains Your memory, and truth must shine in all of us as one.

And find it speaks for itself.

Haystack of lies

Sawadee Khrap

Here is a great talk on ‘PURPOSE’ by David Hoffmeister.   I particularly like the analogy of the needle in the haystack he spoke of early in the chat.

purpose

I pictured it as trying to find the TRUE purpose or TRUTH under a stack of ‘Judgments’ I have made and defend as ‘MY’ Truth or existence.    Thank God,  Jesus and the Holy Spirit,  is teaching me that this idea or concept of what I am is just that a ‘FALSE IMAGE or ILLUSION.’   I AM AS GOD CREATED ME.   But that implies that I am Spirit, the SON, one with God, in the Image and Likeness of my Father.   I do not exist apart from Him nor SPECIAL in any way from Him or ANY OF HIS SONS, we are all ONE.

The straw is merely the judgments, desires to be separate or special,  or as the Buddhists say ‘attachments’ that is burying my true identity, function and purpose.    Forgiveness is the bringing to the surface these false conceptions and looking at the through the eyes of Christ and realizing they are not real.

Christ, the true Son of God, THE DREAMER, imagining the dream or nightmare of separation and the peopled illusion of the projection of this world to prove it to Himself.  The “ELOHIM”, Father-Son-Holy Spirit, broken into fragments, each called by a name, a unique character  and ALONE.

Thanks be to God a path was provided out of this NIGHTMARE.

Emphasize the Middle Path

Sawadee Khrap

Lets look at what Google says about Buddhism and the middle path:

      1. What is the middle path of Buddhism?    The middle path generally refers to the avoidance of two extremes of practical life, namely, indulgence in sensual pleasures on the one hand and severe asceticism on the other. According to the religious biography, the Buddha was supposed to have lived a very comfortable and affluent life before renunciation.
      2. Why is the middle way important?     Buddhism teaches that it is this middle way between denial and self-indulgence that can help someone reach enlightenment. … Buddhism teaches that if people live in a moderate way, just like the Buddha did when he lived the middle way, this inequality will be reduced and the problems of poverty could be avoided.
      3. What are the 8 steps to nirvana?     Following the Noble Eightfold Path leads to liberation in the form of nirvana: (…) Just this noble eightfold path: right view, right aspiration, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration.
      4. What is walking the middle path?    To Walk the Middle Path means replacing “either-or” thinking with collaborative “both-and” thinking. … Too often, we make up our minds about how we feel about something using a black and white, all or nothing, decision-making construct.

Although I personally try to follow my Master’s commands and the theology, myths and beliefs are different , isn’t this the same concept that Jesus taught ?   For example:

“John 5:22 says that “the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” Then 8:15 where Jesus says “I judge no man.” What does it mean that the Father has committed all judgment unto the Son?

The passage in 8:15 comes in the context of Jesus’ teaching in the synagogue and his discussions with the Pharisees. Again, they are discussing judgment. Here, however, it is the judgment of the Pharisees. Jesus is admonishing them for judging according to human standards and says that “I pass judgment on no one.” In other words, he doesn’t use human standards to make judgments. The passage continues, “But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father who sent me.” (16) This is in accord with his previous statement of 5:22. He and the Father use divine standards for judgment, unlike the Pharisees who are quick to judge based on appearances or points of law.

in the Gospel of Thomas  #102    Jesus says:  “Woe to them, the Pharisees, for they are like a dog sleeping in a cattle trough, for it neither eats nor [lets] the cattle eat.”

And again this same concept is expressed in the Unity church teachings:

PASSAGE: “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again, truly I tell you, if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:18-19).

COMMENT: “Earth” is the world of illusion in which we live. “Heaven” is the realm of consciousness in which we are eternally One with Spirit. Jesus is teaching us here—as he does throughout his ministry—that our life experience will express according to our faith. We “bind on earth” when we decide what we believe about this life experience—and that belief will become our full experience. If we believe in a dangerous world, we will experience a dangerous world. If we believe in an enemy trying to do us harm, that will be our experience. If, on the other hand, we “loose” ourselves from those negative beliefs and hold to the truth that there is One Presence and One Power, seeking always to express in and through us as our highest, greatest Good, that will be the life we experience. God—the Father in heaven, the Source of all that is—will express in our lives according to the beliefs we hold.  Blessings!    Rev. Ed

      Undoing Body Symptoms

      Sawadee Khrap

mind healingI do a lot of research on the internet and found this great video on mind healing by David Hoffmeister.   David has a very good talent of explaining the healing techniques of ACIM.  I love the way he uses movies and songs for lessons.   Giving ones life over to the Holy Spirit and Jesus to be guided to true healing of the Mind is easier said than done.

We – I – have been conditioned by the belief of the ego to believe our reality to be this physical world and the body’s senses are the proof.   Our JUDGEMENTS determine what our projected world or illusion is.  Our GUILT demands we hold fast our faith in our decisions or judgments as ‘TRUE’, NEVER to be brought to LIGHT and shown that our perception could be distorted.

I love the way David put it, I paraphrase: ‘Jesus knows your mind, what we feel, what we are capable of and where we ae in recovery.’    Giving our Mind and Will over to Spirit will never introduce more guilt or fear.  We will be guided ONLT TO THE DEGREE THAT  WE NEED AND CAN ACCEPT to TRUE healing.

There is a wonderful prayer in the Review V Introduction of the ACIM Workbook:

“Steady our feet, our Father; let our doubts be quiet and our holy minds be still, and speak to us. We have no words to give to You. We would but listen to Your Word and make it ours. Lead our practicing as does a father lead a little child along a way he does not understand. Yet does he follow, sure that he is safe because his father leads the way for him.

So do we bring our practicing to You. And if we stumble,   You will raise us up. If we forget the way, we count upon Your sure remembering. We wander off, but You will not forget to call us back. Quicken our footsteps now, that we may walk more certainly and quickly unto You. And we accept the Word You offer us to unify our practicing, as we review the thoughts that You have given us.”

Amen.    God Bless   Christ Bless   I Bless

      Right “Seeing”

      Sawadee Khrap

Here is a great video from Ken Wapnick (Foundation for Inner Peace) on seeing through the Christ’s mind.  Lesson 124:

“Today we will not doubt His Love for us, nor question His protection and His care. No meaningless anxieties can come between our faith and our awareness of His Presence. We are one with Him today in recognition and rememberance. We feel Him in our hearts. Our minds contain His Thoughts; our eyes behold His loveliness in all we look upon. Today we see only the loving and the lovable.

We see it in appearances of pain, and pain gives way to peace. We see it in the frantic, in the sad and the distressed, the lonely and afraid, who are restored to the tranquility and peace of mind in which they were created. And we see it in the dying and the dead as well, restoring them to life. All this we see because we saw it first within ourselves.”

Got to thank Team for this tip – last year he told me about the 3M filter sheets that you can put in your aircons and clean the air in the room.  They work excellently – 350 baht each pkg. and I change every month in heavy polluted air.   One filter fits 2 aircons for me.

I ordered mine from Lazada OnLine and got fast shipment.

I received this comment from Ed :

I went there today…First of all, it is open only on Wednesday from 1pm to 4 or 4:30. Spent over 30 minutes just finding the location as it is not priority for the people in the main area where you have to register so that you can be seen in the clinic and pay your bill when it’s all done. I went with a Thai lady to help me and they told us to go to several different locations before we finally got the straight poop; they didn’t even know at the desk where I registered.
The article above is highly misleading to say the least, about the number of medical staff and the number of doctors…they must have been talking about the staff for the entire hospital.
If you plan on going, you definitely need a Thai person to assist you. English is not spoken, it is a Thai hospital that caters to lower income Thais (my bill was 100 baht after speaking to the doctor). If you think you’d like to go, you go first to building #3 where you need to register (need passport). Then, you go up the escalaor to the second floor and after you land, turn left and keep an eye out for an area on the right side that leads to a balcony. When you get to the balcony, turn left and the clinic is the last office at the end. The Cannabis “clinic” is one of three rooms in that office.
I waited close to 2 hours. There was only 1 doctor, and she does not speak very much, if any, English. She has to fill out a questionairre, so you need to coach your Thai assistant with what ailments you hope to alleviate…I went in for insomnia and anxiety. There were 3 nurses attending mainly to administrative duties. Only the one doctor.
The bottom line is that they were out of stock on “medicine” (I don’t know exactly what I will get, but I imagine CBD oil) and they are going to call me when they can provide to me in roughly 3 weeks.
There were 2 people in line ahead of me and maybe 2 more behind; a far cry from the 22 the article claims for the opening. The first was another falang with his wife or gf, and he was talking to the doctor for
the better part of an hour, and the doctor did not arrive until about 1:30. The lady in front of me was around 20 minutes.
Parking was a bitch and we ended up parking at least 1/4 mile from the hospital.
I have no idea what the cost of the medication will be, how much I will receive, or if it will help my ailments.

      Ed

PS. I went there with Simon and did not have this experience – ours was excellent and attentive – got right in and the Dr I met spoke English – but the clinic was for PAIN control first and they told me that they did not expect the CBD oils or Traditional Thai Herbal Dr for at least 2-3 more months.
