Perspective – Set it straight – Carspace

I have been studying a terrific free course in drawing in perspective by Matt Kohr from CTRL+Paint – this is so crucial in paintings, drawings and Capture2creating realistic photomontages in Photoshop. And his web-page lead me to Warren’s program. What a life saver – now with Matt’s study principals and Carspace , all I have to do is to get proficient with it and use it on every image I produce – correct perspective – next I have to study shadows, the second most important aspect to making believable and realistic scenes.

So every once in a while I find a software that is a killer.   I hope I have some readers who are artists and are interested in how to calculate perspective for their drawings or how to create a perspective grid for an existing photograph.   To the rescue -  Warren Marshall  from Epic Games  released  CARSPACE perspective software (freeware)Capture

Extremism is everywhere, all religions and faiths, – exclude’ism – divide and conquer – If God is everywhere, in everything, then nothing can be separate. Nothing can without God – COMPLETE

To exclude anyone is to exclude all – Jesus taught – forgiveness is the path to salvation — condemnation or exclusion is the path to damnation, Life in a God ‘less world.  God is not for some to the exclusion of others – if God is ONE then we all are one in God.

Christians, Islam, Buddhist, Hindu, all of them – some Sects teach hate, exclusion, separation, favoritism, all denying the Complete God. THE ONE, THE ALL INCLUSIVE - 

“Forgive them Father, they know not what they do.”

Amazing Lightroom–must have for Trips

Adobe’s Lightroom is a must have program for any photographer – or traveler who takes photos for that matter.Capture  And if your camera doesn’t have a built in Geo Tracker – then you can use your smart phone to record the tracklog and have Lightroom sync the photos.

I used GPS Essentials (free) with my Galaxy II to record my trip today and took 84 images with the Canon D7 (no GPS) around Pattaya Beach and Walking Street – loaded the images and tracklog into Lightroom and above is the results – in blue is my route and each of the photos have been set to the correct location automatically. – and very accurate too.

The route, shown in blue, also shows the car route I used to get there and back ( no images tagged).   I store the tracklog in the same directory as the original images, so I now have a permanent record of the trip.

Here is a      *******  SLIDESHOW *******  of some of the images taken during the walk.

I am going to plan more excursions and will use this system to record each trip – and put a copy, like above, in each slideshow –

GREAT – try it, for the traveler it’s invaluable.

I love the photo of the little boy from the refugee camp, great shot of determination, climbing obstacles.  More of a outline and cartoon effect but I think it adds a degree of importance to the shot.  And the second is a painting effect utilizing greater brush stroke definition than the ones I did before. 

Sunday I went to my first meeting of the Pattaya City Expats Club and plan to go back next week – Sunday’s meeting had a nature photographer (ian Frame) showing his work – great presentation of macro work in the insect world.  The club is also trying to re-spark their Photo Group and for it I volunteered to present some information on using Lightroom and Photoshop.  We’ll see what happens and post later.  

In addition there is also a Pattaya Expats Club  meeting at the same time each Sunday – not sure who broke from who, I’ll get that info and let you know.  I’ll try to attend this group in a couple of weeks.

A lot is going on, getting my schedule filled again – relaxing on the beach is nice but the chairs are starting to make my back ache , so I also need to get back to my stretching exercises. – always something,

Three blondes were all applying for the last available position on the Texas Highway Patrol.

The detective conducting the interview looked at the three of them and said, "So y’all want to be cops, huh?"   The blondes all nodded.   The detective got up, opened a file drawer, and pulled out a folder.   Sitting back down, he opened it, pulled out a picture, and said,  "To be a detective, you have to be able to detect.  You must be able to notice things such as distinguishing features and oddities like scars and so forth." 

So saying, he stuck the photo in the face of the first blonde and withdrew it after about two seconds.  "Now,"  he said,   "did you notice any distinguishing features about this man?" The blonde immediately said, "Yes, I did. He has only one eye!"  The detective shook his head and said, "Of course he has only one eye in this picture!  It’s a profile of his face!   You’re dismissed!"

The detective then turned to the second blonde, stuck the photo in her face for two seconds, pulled it back, and said, "What about you? Notice anything unusual or Outstanding about this man?"  "Yes! He only has one ear!"  The detective put his head in his hands and exclaimed,  "Didn’t you hear what I just told the other lady?  This is a profile of the man’s face! Of course you can only see one ear!    You’re excused too!"

The detective turned his attention to the third and last blonde and said,  "This is probably a waste of time, but…."   He flashed the photo in her face for a couple of seconds and withdrew it, saying,  "All right, did you notice anything distinguishing or Unusual about this man?"  The blonde said,  "I sure did. This man wears contact lenses.

"The detective frowned, took another look at the picture, and began looking at some of the papers in the folder.  He looked up at the blonde with a puzzled expression and said, "You’re absolutely right!   His bio says he wears contacts!  How in the world could you tell that by looking at his picture?"  The blonde rolled her eyes and said,

"Well,  Hellooooooooooooo! With only  One eye and one ear, he certainly can’t wear glasses."

A VERY ugly man walks into the bar with a big grin on his face, and orders a draft beer.
 
‘What are you so happy about?’, asks the Bartender.
 
‘Well, I’ll tell you,’ replies the ugly man.  ‘As you know, I live by the railroad tracks.  Well, on my way home from the bar last night, I noticed a young woman tied to the tracks, just like in the films.  I, of course, went and cut her free and took her back to my place.
Anyway, to make a long story short, I scored big time! We made love all night, all over the house.  We did everything! Me on top, sometimes her on top, every position imaginable!’
‘Fantastic, you lucky bastard!’, exclaimed the Bartender.  Was she pretty?’
