Does the ACIM ‘Course’ contradict itself. For example:

“Plan ahead is good advice in this world, where you should and must control & direct where you have accepted responsibility. But the Universal Plan is in more appropriate hands. You will know all you need to know. Make NO attempts to plan ahead in this respect.” - ACIM Lesson 135:4 (If I defend myself I am attacked.)
“What but the body has such frailty that constant care and watchful, deep concern are needful to protect its little life? What but the body falters and must fail to serve the Son of God as worthy host? Yet it is not the body that can fear, nor be a thing of fear. It has no needs but those which you assign to it. It needs no complicated structures of defense, no health-inducing medicine, no care and no concern at all. Defend its life, or give it gifts to make it beautiful or walls to make it safe, and you but say your home is open to the thief of time, corruptible and crumbling, so unsafe it must be guarded with your very life.”
NO !!!, but it is addressing two visions – Dreamer and Character. #1 is to the character, #2 is for the Dreamer.
If I believe I am the character (i.e. Frank), and I do because I am here, then this is the FIRST symbol of separation that has to be recognize as illusion. But as #1 states the Universal Plan is in more appropriate hands, or more explicitly the Rightminded Part of the Mind of the Dreamer – Christ. The part I need to play, as the character, is to refrain from making judgements that bind the dream thereby freeing the dreamer to reconsider with the Holy Spirit.
When I can step back, so to say, and see my character as a part in the grand illusion and just observe, it will also be possible to recognize myself as the dreamer. Then #2 makes sense. At this perspective or vision, the Holy Spirit or the Right-mindfulness can correct all errors and dismiss or change the dream or illusion it is. This is true healing and/or salvation.
