Went to Mimosa again last night with Mark and Pooh. There seems to be many postings on the internet and they keep talking about the 1200 Baht foreigner entrance fee — ??? Not sure and actually I didn’t ask last night – but we were charged 50 Baht each. Didn’t seem to make a difference if we were Thai or not. Got there about 5:30 so I could have some daylight for photos, caught the end of the first show and waited for the second performance. Great show with the “Indian fire act†- I had heard about it last time I was there and didn’t want to miss it. Then we went for dinner at a French restaurant, Dammit, didn’t get the name, but had a great dinner – little pricy but adequate serving size for the price. Nice photo, I think I’ll try making a painting from it. That’s Mark and Pooh ordering.

Note: 139 photos so make sure you have time
My favorite was the Indian fire act, but as I usually do, I didn’t stick around to get names nor had enough small change to ask the girls (all the “Girls†at Mimosa are Ladyboys) for photos with them – Mark posed with one of the girls from Roi Et – but it was dark and not a good shot ( it’s in the slideshow) – I was set up for night shooting without flash, so it’s not a shot I would normally show.
As for the cost of getting in – I checked with the Mimosa Facebook page and no mention of ticket cost – but it is now considered the start of the busy season and the pricing is still 50 Baht at the door.
Next time I will take some 20’s and get photos of the girls.
P.S. I have a new model coming over tomorrow – so stay tuned , should have some images to post.

This is a modified version of the WordPress Twenty Twelve Theme. It is a responsive theme and should be working correctly for viewing on mobiles, iPads, and/or computers, I am hoping that you can view it properly on your devices.
Older posts were formatted for the old theme which had a fixed width front page and now with the responsive nature of the blog, many do not display correctly - sorry for that, but too many to go back and reformat. They are still readable so I hope not a big burden.
I would appreciate any comments as to how the new theme is working for you. That way I can make changes where necessary. Thanks in advance – I really need the input.

Here’s Don’s new friend. He rescued her from starving and running wild in Huai Yai park. She’s going to make a great companion – named Lucy – She has already won over the hearts of the Dongtan Beach Group. In addition to Don’s sugar gliders, his house is filling up – lot of mouths to feel. – good luck Don.
And the last photo is “Ton†– one of the dancers at the Mimosa Show. I believe I am going back with Mark, and Mike, next week to get some shots of the entire complex during daylight and then stay to shoot a couple of the evening shows and try out dinner. This place was a real surprise and amazing that it offers a whole night of entertainment and eating for just a 50 Baht entrance fee. Before you leave – don’t miss this one.
