Busy, Busy, Busy

Wow, I’ve been busy this week – not any time to post, or at least I was waiting to post with some new photos – but didn’t get them processed yet.

I have started to teach some of the monks at Wat Suan Dok about web programming.  Helping them understand HTML and how to write simple code to put up their web page.  We have gotten together at Monk Chat and discussed code and planning a page.  It’s really nice showing them how to do it.

I think next week there will be a caravan of people going to see the 1 Baht school and bring their donations – this coming Saturday will be the next Expat meeting and I am going to be there to gather the donations collected for the School and area. – I hope it will be a good turn-out.  I did get my picture in the Chiang Mai Mail mag  – but it doesn’t say that I gave the talk on the school project – what the hell – at least my picture is in the article.

Well this is just a update – Things should slow down after this weekend.

Ciao

  1. Yea that could be me, so where are you hearing things? When is still not definite yet, but late next spring would be a ball park target right now. BTW, I wrote Bon a while back, just to say Hi, was curious if he said anything about my email.

I saw the email, Peter printed it out from their web site and gave it to Bon last week. Bon loved it, fan mail from way across the ocean – never had that before. He’s looking forward to meeting you – And the rumor was probably from Jerry – where he heard it I’m not sure – anyway – looking forward to your coming, we will roll out the red carpet, spruce up the short time hotels, alert all the local haunts and show you what living in Thailand is like – ha ha – maybe, just maybe you may never leave, so make sure you tidy up there before coming.

  2. Wow, I thought you had gotten lost out running around the country side. I do love hearing of the things you are doing. I do admire that you have gotten so involved in things over there. Hope everyone is well, I’ll keep checking back.

Thanks Mike. Lost in only enough time to cover all bases. This donation project for Lak Tang School has taken up a lot of time – just left the Ex pats meeting with new donations, 1000 baht and car full of items, 2 caravan trips planned at the end of next week — really hectic – being alone doesn’t help either – still have to find time to socialize or this being one will last longer – gotta learn how to date all over again – damn. Thank God I’m in the right place to search – SF didn’t hold out much hope 🙂

Oh ya, I heard that a “Michael” was planning on coming to Chiang Mai – is that Michael you? My only question is WHEN?
