Sprite – Quite an Ad

Sawadee Khrap

Kevin just sent me a link to this Sprite advertisement that was apparently shown on Fox News – Germany, funny advertisements, 2009.

Sprite Ad -

Here is the full story – first the author interview on “The Young Turks” channel   And here is a link to the ad itself.

Amazing how this stuff is broadcast across the web and people believe everything they see on the web –

Myth of Talent

Sawadee Khrap

“Often people attempt to live their lives backwards; they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want, so they will be happier.

The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.” – Margaret Young

Onions & Christmas Trees

Sawadee Khrap

A family is at the dinner table. The son asks his father, ‘Dad, how many kinds of boobs are there?

The father, surprised, answers,

‘Well, son, there are three kinds of Boobs:
In her 20’s, a woman’s are like melons, round and firm.
In her 30’s to 40’s, they’re like pears, still nice but hang a bit.
After 50, they are like onions’.
Onions?’           ‘Yes, you see them and they make you cry.’

This infuriated his wife and daughter so the daughter said,
‘Mum, how many kinds of ‘willies’ are there?.

The mother, surprised, smiles and answers,

‘Well dear, a man goes through three phases.
In his 20’s, his willy is like an oak  tree, mighty and hard.
In his 30’s and 40’s, it is like a birch,  flexible but reliable.
After his 50’s, it is like a Christmas Tree.’

‘A Christmas tree?’      ‘Yes – the root’s dead and the balls are just for decoration.’

Thanks Jim

Photoshop retouch–save that photo

Sawadee Khrap

Here is a comparison of some Photoshop work – the shot in the left is the original one of a young monk taken by a friend of mine.  The background was awful and focus and slant of the subject was way off. Also see the light dot in the middle of his robe.

Quite a difference – amazing what Photoshop can do –

Wit–Super model

Sawadee Khrap

DrawingsWall-ThaiHere’s a couple of new ones – I am trying out new backgrounds and blending images – and using Wit again for the model.  He’s great and we are going to try some outdoor shots as my flash units are in for repair.  Anyway hope you like these versions using a new athletic background.  Just quick test so forgive the simplicity.

In The first shot he’s in traditional Burmese male clothes from the New Year party at Wat Ku Tao –

the second, well I think that’s obvious.

Shan New Year – Wat Ku Tao

Sawadee Khrap

Just got back from an evening at Wat Ku Tao, a Shan (Thai Yai -Burmese) Temple located near Chang Puak Rd.   I was invited to go with a friend, Wit, to see the celebration for Shan New Years.  It began on Dec 6th and this was the last evening (8th).  Wow

I tried to get some shots but my camera will not take good photos in low light – Damn – I am going to get a new one after the Christmas holidays – I hope the prices will drop by then.  In any event here are a few of the shots I did manage to get.

First was Wit, in his traditional Shan dress (rather formal): Saifah was there in great traditional Burmese dress but I could not get any shots of his outfit – he was going on stage and I missed my chance.

Sorry for the bad quality but you can still see the outfit – the place was packed, I’s say over 3-4000 there. Great entertainment, many young men, singing, food, boys, dancing, and did I mention – boys.

I did get shots of some of the clothes for the ladies being sold there:

Again I am sorry for the terrible quality of the images – next time.  I see that Peter has posted some good shots on his site. – Radchada
