You think Thai drivers are bad

Sawadee Khrap

Thanks Jerry for this YouTube enlightening video report on why you are required to have a dashboard DashCam Russiacameras to get insurance in Russia – trying to tell what actually happened here would be very difficult.  I should get one for my car just in case – planning on that long trip to Chiang Mai and this would be good insurance.

Origins–a movie not to miss

Sawadee Khrap

Here is a movie that you need to take the time to see – 90 minutes – make sure and watch it full screen – beautiful, informative and eye opening.  ORIGINS  -shared by www.Mercola.com

Origins

The film “Origins” shows how our modern lifestyle has caused us to lose our connection with the earth, resulting in so many of our global problems from environmental destruction to hunger and disease

The US is now producing and importing 74 billion pounds of chemicals each day that are poisoning our bodies and polluting our planet

If we ever hope to heal, we must address how we eat, move, and live symbiotically with the earth

Sawadee Khrap

Here one that will blow your mind – Capture

Listen closely and he will explain how he does it -  it helps to rewind a few times to catch it all.  Good luck – click on the image to view the talk – I think it’s about 15 min long.

Or this one on saving the world’s eco-system using mushrooms:

Capture2“Ted” has some amazing talks presented and all are free to view – again click on the image to view the talk and make sure to bookmark the site so you can stay abreast of the newest developments in science.

I find them fascinating – and they cover all facets of everyday life.

TedWe all need exercise and exercising the brain is the best way to say alert and healthy.  Best way is to regularly listen to “TED talks” – Amazing information that will astound you.  For example:Smart Animals - Ted

Susan Savage-Rumbaugh: The gentle genius of bonobos – this is amazing –

And I am sure I have seen some early ancestors right here in Pattaya – maybe you have too – we are not that far from their evolution – watch the next time you venture outside.

Vets and Doctors

Barbara Natterson-Horowitz: What veterinarians know that doctors don’t

And this one – check out my category on medicine and hospitals  – we just throw drugs at any ailment  without really talking to the patient or checking to see what the real underlying cause is – These are 2 great “talks” – check out the rest –

50's

Click on the image or here to play the movie

If you remember these things than your getting up there – funny it seems like yesterday that I saw or did these things – I was also a “Soda Jerk”  at a small drugstore Ice Cream Fountain in Omaha almost exactly like the one in the movie – watch for it  – maybe you had a “malt” there too and later in the 70’s I had a TBird like the one in the picture but mine was Red.

“The Diamonds” now and then

Sawadee Khrap

Thanks Kevin for this link – but it does show my age – wow memories.

Cick on the image to start the videothe diamonds

THEY ARE STILL GREAT . . . THIS WILL PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE…

If you were alive in 1957, and old enough to enjoy Rock and Roll, you will probably remember the group, "The Diamonds" who had just launched their super hit "Little Darlin’ ".
For you that are too young to remember – it was a time when the performers were happy, enjoying themselves, respecting their fans, dressed appropriately and their lyrics could be understood.   They did not feel obligated to scream, eat the microphone, mumble inaudible lyrics or trash the set.
In 1957, The Diamonds had a hit with "Little Darlin" 47 years later, they were requested to perform at Atlantic City …  This link leads to both performances.  Watch the first one then scroll down for the new one 47 years later.   Tom Hanks father is much better looking than Tom, and even better looking with age. In the linked videos Tom Hank’s father is the lead singer on the left. He still has it! Hope you enjoy.
