Again just going through my older photo sessions and this is one I hadn’t posted. Gabby – Here’s Gabby’s profile on Model Mayhem
In 2009 with my old Canon 10D, I had the honor to have Gabby pose for me when he was visiting Chiang Mai. Here’s one of the shots we produced , but at that time I had just setup my home studio I was struggling with the lighting – results very grainy and high noise images. I haven’t heard from him for several years now, but will send him a link to this post and hope to hear from him and see how he’s doing.
P.S. My Model Mayhem profile is Frank2Thailand
I spend a lot of time trying out new ideas - and I see I haven’t posted any images for a long time so here’s the latest technique I am working on – Applying a wrinkled cover to posters and billboards.
I used this photo as an example – I am going to start to do more full screen storytelling images going beyond my usual model portraits. But I also need to practice producing realistic shadows, blends and distortions.
And here’s a new technique I found on the web for a more artistic treatment of a standard portrait – the modification of this technique is endless.
So many thing to test out and different approaches to learn – WOW what hobby.
