Sawadee Khrap

CRW_0133-SlideshowTitletHere is my second   ******** SLIDESHOW ******** of selected photos from Thailand.  Mostly flowers.  Hope you enjoy.  I will try to look for more landscapes and other subjects.  Landscapes might require a special post as these are usually best as panoramas.  If you have any special request for selected topics, drop me a comment and I’ll try to post what I have.

Photoshop filters – Mood changers

Sawadee Khrap

I am always amazed at the power of  Photoshop filters to change the mood of any photo.  By changing the hues or adding textures enormous mood swings can be accomplished.  MG_8257-CraquelureMG_8257-LUT-Candlelight-EditVictor commented on the great site – Stonehenge – in Nong Nooch post.  I am going back to get more shots, early and late in the day which will add directed lighting for enhanced shadows and definition.  MG_8257-LUT-FoggyNight-EditMG_8257-LUT-DvLink-RBY-EditYet here is just a couple of Photoshop filters on a shot I took in almost midday – what a impact.  1. Craquelure, 2.-LUT-Candlelight, 3. LUT-Foggynight, and 4. LUT-DvLinkRBY.  by merely adding specialized filters.

Of course, having a erotic, sexy young man as a model in the shot can only add to the excitement.  So on to bigger and better things.

This one was viewed by over 44 million people  ******  And I just saw it.  Gott’a stay home more often and stay tuned.  In any event , you have to check them out  if you haven’t seen them before – just search YouTube for more.    Don’t miss out like I did.

A must-have for Photoshop users

Sawadee Khrap

tumasoftPresetViewerHere is a “MUST HAVE” program for Photoshop users.  TumaSoft Preset Vewier.  I have a tremendous collection of brushes, shapes, patterns, clipart, and styles and I have been finding it almost impossible to remember what I have  – each time I have to sift through the entire collection by loading them in Photoshop one by one and viewing as little icon images -   what a bitch

Come to the rescue TumaSoft.   Their viewer allows me to view off-line, in extremely large size all my collection before I load them into Photoshop.  I can also create new collections, export brushes as PNG images, search my clipart, etc.  A great program.   If your serious about Photoshop you owe it to yourself to check out this helper.  I bought the version pictured above but they also have a Adobe AIR version.

UPDATE:  Support and service was there – they also allowed me to upgrade (w/o additional charge) to Breeze.  Breeze was released just before CS6 came out so it doesn’t know specific CS6 brushes, update later for this – [ Preset Viewer 2.1 was released before CS5 so has a limited brush capability for the new ones.]   I think Breeze’s GUI is more attractive and easier to work with – Get this one.

Nong Nooch again

Sawadee Khrap

I didn’t realize what a great photographer’s venue this is, I see what Victor was talking about in his comment on the last Nong Nooch post.  Pat and I went in the morning and concentrated just on the area as you drive in.  _MG_8104-Edit    Here is the lower entrance gate with the ants – and then the _MG_8199lower orchid area and clay pot sculptures and the tigers area, they wanted 100 Baht for a photo with them – we passed this up and went on to eat at the lower restaurant – great cooks and food – prices were also very affordable._MG_8130_MG_8128   _MG_8234Then on to the  Stonehenge gardens – here is another great  photographic area.  All the sites had such vivid colors and the place was immaculate, flowers all trimmed and attended to.  Pat remarked what a great place for wedding photos and there were several couples taking advantage.  _MG_8278  I had asked CDRom is he and his brother could come with us but they had worked all night and couldn’t make it – next time – we stayed until a little after noon when it started to heat up and then left – I will come back and see what it is like at night time as Victor stated in his comment as I do intend to frequent this place  – with the boys if possible.  I am planning on doing some Photoshop work using some of these shots as backdrops with the erotic boy images.   Anyway here is a image slideshow of the day:

_MG_8334Hope you have a chance to visit this great site when you come to visit Pattaya – Amazing place, for old and young alike.

Here’s one for “Pat”

Sawadee Khrap

Here’s one from Paul’s Sunday Funnies for our friend Pat from Ireland visiting here in Pattaya.

An Irishman arrived at J.F.K. Airport and wandered around the terminal with tears streaming down his cheeks.  An airline employee asked him if he was already homesick.

"No," replied the Irishman.   "I’ve lost all me luggage!"
"How’d that happen?"    "The cork fell out!" said the Irishman.

Hey Pat, I know you are having a great time here and look forward to seeing all your photos taken this trip – Looks like we may be planning another trip to Nong Nooch, with some boys of course – stay tuned for photos.

Great Model–CDRom

Sawadee Khrap

Like to introduce you to a great 23 y/o young man and wonderful model.  “CDRom”  is his nickname and he’s from Isaan, Thailand.  Here in Pattaya on vacation from his studies – Tourism Major.  He tells me he would like to find a Farang B/F to settle down with and start a Tour Service primarily for gay travelers.   Could be you.  If you would like to contact him, send me a comment and I w2ill forward you his email address.

_MG_8922-Edi-fina-5CDROM_MG_8057-Finalchair-CDROM-EditCDRom-Archer-MG_7923testtBut this time I thought you would also like to see some of the other shots taken in the shoot – he agreed and so I have made this short

***** SLIDESHOW ******

Maybe I can include more of these in future model sessions.  Hope so.    Let me know what you think – the images have had minor corrections for some acne but otherwise are as shot.  You can see I have limited studio space so Photoshop is a constant companion.  But you can see what I mean – a great model.

It’s how you look at things

Sawadee Khrap

Another great article from Paul:

The Sierra Club and the U.S. Forest Service were presenting an alternative to Wyoming  ranchers for controlling the coyote population.  It seems that after years of the ranchers using the tried and true methods of shooting and/or trapping the predators, the tree- huggers had a ‘more humane’ solution.

What they proposed was for the animals to be captured alive, the males would then be castrated and let loose again. Therefore the population would be controlled. This was ACTUALLY proposed to the Wyoming Wool and Sheep Grower’s Association by the Sierra Club and the USFS.

All of the ranchers thought about this amazing idea for a couple of minutes. Finally, an old boy in the back of the conference room stood up, tipped his hat back and said, ‘Son, I don’t think you understand our problem. Those coyotes ain’t fuckin’ our sheep – they’re ‘eatin em!’
You should have been there to hear the roar of laughter.

Another Paul’s Sunday Funnies –

Sawadee Khrap

Here are two I really like from the latest Paul’s Sunday Funnies (check older post to subscribe):

Now here’s a guy who on his 70th birthday, got a gift certificate from his partner. The certificate paid for a visit to a medicine man living on the Pima Indian reservation who was rumored to have a wonderful cure for erectile dysfunction. After being persuaded, he drove to the reservation, handed his certificate to the medicine man and nervously awaited what would happen next.  The old man slowly and methodically produced a potion, handed it to him, and with a grip on his shoulder, warned, "This is powerful medicine and it must be respected.  You take only a teaspoonful and then say ‘1-2-3.’   When you do that, you will become more manly than you have ever been in your life, and you can perform as long as you want."

Wow, he was encouraged.  As he walked away, he turned and asked, "How do I stop the action of the medicine?"    "Your partner must say  ‘1-2-3-4,’ " he responded, "but  when they do, the medicine will not work again until the next full moon."

He was so eager to see if it worked he went right home, showered, shaved, fluffed up the three remaining hairs he had on his head, put on lots of cologne, took a spoonful of the medicine, and then invited his partner to join him in the bedroom. When he came in, he took off his clothes and said, "1-2-3!"

Immediately, the glory of his manhood expanded to fulfill both of their longings. His partner was so excited that he began ripping off his clothes. When almost fully disrobed, he asked, "Honey, what was the 1-2-3 for?"

And that, boys and girls, is why we should never end our sentences with a preposition! Otherwise you will end up with a dangling participle.

and

A salesman goes up to a house and knocks on the front door. It’s opened by a little ten year-old boy who has a lighted cigar in one hand, a glass of whiskey in the other and a Penthouse magazine tucked under his arm.
Salesman: "Hello son. Is your mom or dad home?"

Little boy: "!! Now what the fuck do you think !!"
