I almost forgot – here are some shots from the “LadyBoy” Contest held last Saturday night near the Friendship Bar in the Night Bazaar. Nui’s place — I didn’t stay to see who won , it was very late and I find I cannot stay up like I used to and function the next day. It’s hard to believe these are boys – or were boys in the beginning. Ladyboys are very accepted in Thailand and there is no discrimination – you see them working everywhere, some, like the girls here, are very, very beautiful while others just honor their female side
. Several of the contestants were from Simon’s. Anyway
